This petition under Section 166 Motor Vehicles
Act 1989 is filed seeking compensation of
Rs.50,00,000/- for the death of Kullayappa @ Palli
Kullayappa S/o Palli Venkataramudu @
Venkataramappa, in a Road Traffic Accident.
2. The specific case of the petitioners is that on
14-01-2024 at about 4:00 p.m., the deceased
Kullayappa was riding a motorcycle bearing
registration No. AP-40-BH-4407, along with a pillion
rider, proceeding from Guluru towards Bagepalli, near
NallappaReddy Village Lake, Bagepalli Taluk,
Chikkaballapura District. At that time, the rider of
another motorcycle bearing registration No. AP-39-JU-
2237 (hereinafter referred to as the offending
motorcycle) rode the vehicle at a high speed in a rash
and negligent manner and collided with the motorcycle
of the deceased.
