The returned candidate had taken out MC(El.Pet.) No. 60 of 2022

under Section 86(1) of ‘Representation of Peoples Act, 1951’ (‘RP Act’ for the sake

of convenience) seeking dismissal of the election petition on the ground of

noncompliance qua sub Sections (1) & (3) of Section 81 of RP Act. This Court after

full contest dismissed the election petitioner’s MC(El.Pet.) No. 60 of 2022 vide ‘an

order dated 18.02.2026’ (‘said order’ for the sake of convenience and clarity).
