The model has been priced at an introductory Rs 99,999, ex-showroom, while pre-bookings have already commenced from January 17, 2025, with a nominal booking amount of Rs 499. Here’s a look at what’s on offer.
Ferrato Defy 22: All you need to know
Speaking of the design, the scooter gets a sharp, extended front apron with the company’s badging on the side panels, and a hexagonal LED headlamp. Other key highlights include a dual-level floorboard, sharp lines on the side panels, a chunky, single-piece grab rail and a sleek taillamp.
The Ferrato Defy 22 comes equipped with a 1.2 kWh motor that can propel it to a top speed of 70 kmph. On a fully juiced battery, the model delivers an ICAT-certified range of 80 km. As for the battery pack itself, it houses a 2.2 kWh LFP battery. The model offers three riding modes: Eco, City, and Sports.
The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels and has a 7-inch touchscreen display that offers smartphone connectivity and related features including navigation and music. As for suspension duties, the model features telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both wheels, featuring CBS. This makes it one of the few, if not the only electric scooter in India to offer disc brakes on both wheels. Additionally, the scooter offers a 25-litre under-seat storage capacity.
The DEFY 22 is available in seven dual-tone colour options: Champagne Cream, Black Fire, Coastal Ivory, Unity White, Resilience Black, Dove Grey, and Matte Green.
