NEW DELHI: A car accident on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai on Friday night left the driver with minor injuries, according to police.
The incident occurred around 9.30pm when the vehicle, reportedly speeding, overturned after the driver lost control, an official stated.
Emergency responders, including police and sea-link staff, promptly arrived at the scene to rescue the driver. Vehicular movement on the sea link was temporarily disrupted due to the accident, causing delays for commuters.
Footage of the overturned car and the resulting traffic congestion has since circulated widely on social media. Authorities have initiated the process of registering a case at the Worli police station, the official added.
