In a scathing exposé, AAP Delhi State President Saurabh Bharadwaj has revealed that the BJP government is only rebranding Arvind Kejriwal government’s Mohalla Clinics and dispensaries as “Ayushman Arogya Mandirs,” falsely presenting them as new BJP achievements.

Sharing a video of the air-conditioned dispensary in Chirag Delhi—built under the Arvind Kejriwal government and inaugurated by then Health Minister Satyendar Jain—Saurabh Bharadwaj revealed that the original foundation stone bearing Satyendar Jain’s and his own name still remains intact. He charged the BJP with merely repainting and renaming existing clinics, calling it a brazen theft of AAP’s governance model.

In a detailed post on X, senior AAP leader and Delhi Unit President Saurabh Bharadwaj exposed how BJP is falsely claiming credit for public health infrastructure built years ago under the AAP government. “Mohalla clinics and dispensaries built by the Kejriwal government are being repainted and renamed as Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. BJP is claiming it has built 33 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. In reality, they are simply repainting old facilities and calling them new. This is a record-setting spree of lies,” stated Saurabh Bharadwaj.

Citing a specific example, he pointed to the air-conditioned dispensary in Chirag Delhi, inaugurated in 2017. “Even today, the inauguration stone installed there carries my name and that of then Health Minister Satyendar Jain. This very dispensary is now being claimed as a ‘new’ Ayushman Arogya Mandir by the BJP,” he said.

Saurabh Bharadwaj slammed the BJP for including these rebranded clinics as part of its so-called “20 big achievements” after completing 100 days in office. “Among their top achievements, the BJP government lists Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, claiming to have opened 33 across Delhi. This is an outright lie. The Chirag Delhi dispensary, built in 2017 by the Kejriwal government, is being falsely projected as a new BJP initiative,” he said.

Calling out the BJP’s duplicity, Saurabh Bharadwaj noted: “This is not a new Ayushman Arogya Mandir. This is an old Delhi government dispensary inaugurated on 3 December 2017 by Health Minister Satyendar Jain and myself. Even today, the signage says ‘Delhi Government, Aap Ki Sarkar’ and bears both our names. This is the BJP’s truth.”

He further recalled how the BJP and the LG had previously attacked the AAP government over the Ayushman Bharat scheme. “They would constantly accuse AAP of blocking the scheme, saying the Centre would release massive funds if BJP came to power. Now, the same BJP is branding existing clinics as Ayushman Arogya Mandirs with a coat of yellow paint and a few decorative graphics.”

Saurabh Bharadwaj said the public should not be misled by these cosmetic changes. “People may think 33 new centres have been opened with advanced facilities. But the truth is, these are the same dispensaries—same doctors, pharmacists, and services. Even the ACs were installed by the AAP government. The Chirag Delhi dispensary was the first to get air-conditioning under AAP’s administration,” he clarified.

He concluded by calling out BJP’s deliberate antics to mislead Delhiites. “For five years, the BJP made grand promises of massive central funding if it came to power. Instead, it is now repainting and renaming existing clinics to manufacture achievements. The people of Delhi know the truth. BJP doesn’t want to work—it only wants to repackage and rename the work already done by the Aam Aadmi Party government.”
