Dinesh Dhanapathi vs K.P. Srinivasan on 12 February, 2026

This is a private complaint filed by the complainant

under Sec.200 of Cr.P.C, against the accused for the offence

punishable under Sec.138 of Negotiable Instrument Act,

1881 (in short referred to as N.I. Act).

The brief facts of the case are as under :

2. It is the case of the complainant that, during

December 2017 one of the complainant’s customer viz, Mr.

Gobind Patra introduced the complainant to the accused

representing that the accused was operating Sun Info

Systems, a Proprietorship concern, with his last known

office address at # D-804, Jalvayu Heights, HMT Main Road,

Jalahalli West, Bengaluru 560 013. Between February

2018 to December 2019 the accused through his

Proprietorship concern viz., Sun Info Systems approached

the complainant’s business establishment for supply of

Mobile Phones, Laptop Computers and related accessories

(the Goods) for approximately a little more over Rs.11.00

Lakhs and at the given point of time, the accused assured

the complainant that he would place much bigger business

orders on the complainant’s business establishment in the

future. Accordingly the complainant supplied the ordered

goods and after receipt of the said goods from the

complainant’s business establishment, the accused

promised the complainant that as against sale of certain

machinery scrap to his third parties, accused was awaiting

payments to a tune of approximately Rs.20.00 Crores and
