National Law University Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI), under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully hosted the Talk Show on Digital India Initiatives on 9 February 2026 at the Moot Court Hall. Over 100 students participated in the event, which brought together experts, faculty members, and students for an engaging discussion on key digital governance initiatives.
The programme commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a Welcome Address by Prof. (Dr.) Ruhi Paul, Registrar, NLU Delhi and an overview of the programme by Dr. Priya Rai, Director, CRI.
The technical sessions featured expert insights from Mr. Shiven Shankar, Manager, NeGD; Mr. Arun Kumar, National Coordinator; and Mr. Soumavo, Domain Expert, who deliberated on initiatives including DigiLocker, UMANG, Open Forge/Collab with Government, ABC–NAD–APAAR, myScheme, and key issues relating to Cybersecurity and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The event also included an interactive Digital India Quiz, followed by prize distribution.
