Infrastructure-wise, our university stands at a solid. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, with smart screens in a few of them. Sports facilities are available, and a proposed sports complex might be built in the near future—a tender for the auditorium has already been issued.

Hostel rooms are clean and offer both AC and cooler options, though the washrooms could be greatly improved. Aside from that, the campus has great electricity backups, is ragging-free, and has lifts in both the academic block and hostels.

The library is fully air-conditioned, with comfortable seating and decent capacity. It has a good collection of books, with newer and better stock continuously being added.

For a new campus like ours, basic amenities have been provided, development is progressing at a decent pace, and the university is steadily becoming more equipped with diverse facilities.

Syllabus-wise, even the humanities-related subjects are taught in a way that’s highly relevant to law. The syllabus is really comprehensive and very practical. The attendance criteria are comparatively relaxed; only a minimum of 70% attendance is required to be eligible for exams (though attendance does proportionally affect internal assessment marks).

Classes are held from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with ample tea breaks and a one-hour lunch break in between. We have a mix of permanent, contract, and guest faculty members teaching us.

The faculty is generally quite approachable, friendly, polite, and welcoming, open to doubts and academic discussions.

Great peer quality. Everyone is quite respectful to each other, regardless of whether someone is a senior or junior.

Strict anti-ragging policies and regulations enforced by the university administration have also contributed to a healthier environment. It’s quite a safe campus, with mostly helpful and polite peers.

There are nearly 10 clubs and 11 research centres, some of which are very active, such as the Moot Court Society, Debate and Quizzing Society, Dance Society, and Cultural Society.

The centres have been actively organizing events like debates, national conferences, paper presentations, quizzes, blog writing competitions, etc. It’s worth noting that the research centres were established just a little over a year ago, so many are still in their fledgling stage.

Only two batches have passed out so far (including the batch of 2025), so there is limited information available on placements.

However, good internships are regularly provided to students who apply for them. Some corporate firms have already visited or are scheduled to visit the campus.

Many internship-oriented events and skill-building sessions are being planned. With the proposed changes in the placement cell, significant improvement and increased productivity are expected in the near future.

The campus has an 8-storey building with lift facilities. Washrooms and corridors are cleaned daily, maintaining good hygiene.

A clean mess is provided inside the hostels themselves, with separate mess facilities for girls and boys. Both hostels have their own gym, and a reading room is also available within the hostel.

There are provisions for both single and double occupancy, and all rooms come with balconies. The campus offers great ventilation, ample sunlight, and an overall well-ventilated and pleasant environment.

A clean and green campus, completely ragging-free and smoke-free. It’s well built with great landscaping, intelligent and friendly peers, and strong future potential. Its proximity to Delhi is also a plus.

Various cultural events and festivals are celebrated joyously, making the atmosphere vibrant and inclusive. Overall, it’s a comfortable and great place to study, live, and grow as individuals.

Post-COVID development has been relatively slow and could definitely be sped up. Hostel washrooms need improvement, as they are not of very good quality.

The quantity of books in the library—especially those in higher demand—needs to be increased, though improvements in this regard have already begun.

There’s a noticeable lack of events, and no major fests have been inaugurated yet, which is much needed. While an auditorium is expected soon, there isn’t one currently.

There is also a strict need for more qualified and appropriate faculty, especially considering this is an NLU.

A great place to be. Overall, it offers a very healthy and well-controlled environment to grow, which, for me personally, is far more important than any academic facility or name and fame.

The campus is really safe and full of knowledge. However, knowledge won’t come to you; you have to seek it out yourself.
