The Chemical Science exam consists of 120 MCQs, with candidates required to attempt 75 questions. Each question has four options, and candidates must select one. Part A and Part B carry 2 marks per question, while Part C offers 4 marks. Negative marking applies: 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers in Parts A and B. Candidates must attempt 15 questions in Part A, 35 in Part B, and 25 in Part C.
CSIR NET 2024 Exam Pattern for Earth Science
The Earth Science exam has 150 questions, with candidates required to answer 15, 35, and 25 questions from Parts A, B, and C, respectively. Each correct answer in Parts A and B earns 2 marks, while Part C carries 4 marks per correct answer. Negative marking of 0.5 marks applies in Parts A and B, and 1.32 marks are deducted in Part C.

The Life Science exam consists of 145 questions, and candidates must answer 15, 35, and 25 questions in Parts A, B, and C, respectively. The Mathematical Science exam includes 120 questions, with candidates required to answer 15, 25, and 20 questions from Parts A, B, and C. Part A and B have negative markings of 25%, but Part C has no negative marking. The correct answers in Part A will earn 2 marks, part B will be awarded 3 marks, while Part C questions carry 4.75 marks. For wrong answers 0.5 mark will be deducted in part A, 3 marks in section B.
CSIR NET 2024 Exam Pattern for Physical Science
In the Physical Science exam, candidates must attempt 15 questions from Part A, 20 from Part B, and 20 from Part C. Part A and Part B questions carry 2 and 3.5 marks, respectively, and Part C questions are worth 5 marks each.
