2. The accused/applicant seeks regular bail in case Crime No.
VIII/66/DZU/2022 for offence under Section 21/23/29 NDPS Act.
3. Broadly speaking, the prosecution case is that on the basis of secret
information, one Kamalden was apprehended at the airport and was found to
be in possession of 19.867 kg of heroin. Kamalden disclosed that the said
contraband would be collected by a person from the hotel against payment.
After seizure of the recovered contraband, the NCB prepared a substitute
(dummy) bag and started waiting for the other person. The said other person
is the accused/applicant, who collected the substitute bag after paying USD
