IJCLP is a Scopus-indexed, peer-reviewed, open-access journal. It is published annually by the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) under the aegis of the Chair on Consumer Law and Practice (CLAP), established by the Department of Consumer Affairs.
About the Call for Papers
International Journal on Consumer Law and Practice (IJCLP) (ISSN 2347-2731)Â invites submissions for its forthcoming 2026 issue, Vol. 14. The journal welcomes contributions from academics and practitioners of law and allied fields.
Themes and Sub-themes
The journal especially welcomes submissions on contemporary issues in the field of consumer protection and its legal interactions. The themes listed below are merely indicative and not exhaustive.
- Empowering consumers through clean energy transitions
- Protecting consumers in food crisis now and in the future
- Consumer journeys in digital finance with mobile money
- Consumer voices in the G20;
- Consumer protection combating greenwashing;
- Electronic enforcement of consumer caw;
- Durability and the right to repair
- Digital futures: Building trusted e-commerce and generative AI
The themes listed above are merely indicative and not exhaustive. The Journal highly appreciates submissions on any contemporary issues in the field of Consumer Protection and its legal interactions.
Submission Guidelines
The submission guidelines are given here.
Word Count
- Articles including abstract (6,000-8,000 words, inclusive of footnotes).
- Case Comment, Legislative Briefs (Up to 5,000 words, inclusive of footnotes).
- Book Review (Up to 3,000 words, inclusive of footnotes).
The authors intending to do a book review shall submit a hard or soft copy of the book along with the consent letter from the publisher or author of the book at the address of the journal.
