CCV at NLU Delhi organized a closed-door consultation to shape the Victim Advocacy Project (3rd May, 2025)

The Centre for Criminology and Victimology (CCV) at NLU Delhi organized a closed-door consultation bringing together judges, prosecutors, academics, and civil society experts to shape the Victim Advocacy Project. The discussion focused on ensuring early and holistic legal and psychosocial support for crime survivors through dedicated victim advocates, paralegal networks, integrated trauma counselling, and early-stage interventions. We thank the CCV team — Prof. (Dr.) Mukul Raizada, Dr. Tasneem Deo, Mr. Ankit Kaushik and Ms. Prerna Deep for organizing this important dialogue under the guidance and vision of our Chairperson, Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice Chancellor, NLU Delhi. Thanks to our student volunteers Shefali Manawat and Aakash D.B. for their assistance.
