CBI Registers a case against four accused including 03 Railway officials & an Impersonator and others on allegations of securing job in Railway Department using fraudulent means

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case on 21.02.2025 on a complaint and reference made by Vigilance Department, HQ Office, West Central Railway, Jabalpur (MP) against accused including Goods Train Manager; Tech-II under CWM; Assistant TRD (Khallasi Helper), Electrical Department, all three of West Central Railway Kota (Raj.) and an Impersonator candidate & Unknown others on allegations that accused Assistant TRD (Khallasi Helper) in connivance with other accused including accused dummy candidate & other unknown Railway officials, secured job in Railways by using fraudulent means as well as in lieu of illegal financial gratification of Rs. 15.00 lakh. It was also alleged that accused dummy candidate had appeared in the Railway exam and photographs, fake identities, fingerprints of the dummy candidate were utilized in the entire selection process of the Railway Recruitment Exam.

Searches are being conducted by CBI at the premises of accused in Kota and Sawai Madhopur Districts of Rajasthan.

Investigation is continuing.
