About the Submission

Orpheus Sabha Foundation invites original, analytical, and well-researched submissions for publication on its official blog, Forum for Public Thought. We welcome contributions from individuals passionate about law, policy, governance, and allied disciplines. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Categories

We accept submissions under the following categories:

  • Life in Law (Moots, Campus Reviews, Conversations)
  • Legal Policy
  • State & Governance
  • International Affairs
  • Environment and Allied Concepts

Eligibility & Authorship

  • Who can submit: Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, Research Scholars, Academicians, Legal Practitioners, Policy Researchers, and professionals from allied disciplines.
  • Co-authorship: Permitted for a maximum of two (2) authors. The submission must represent the joint original work of the author(s).
  • Fees: There is no submission or publication fee.

Submission Guidelines

  • Length: 1,500–2,000 words (exclusive of references).
  • Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: Maximum similarity threshold of 15%. Submissions exceeding this limit will be rejected.
  • Citations: References must be hyperlinked within the body of the text. Footnotes or endnotes are not permitted.
  • File Format: Submissions must be uploaded in both MS Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF (.pdf) formats.

Formatting Standards

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

Review Process

All submissions undergo an editorial review to assess originality, relevance, structure, and analytical quality. The Editorial Board may suggest revisions, which must be incorporated within the stipulated time.

The decision of the Editorial Board regarding acceptance, rejection, or revision shall be final. The Editorial Board reserves absolute discretion to accept or reject submissions at any stage. Acceptance does not guarantee immediate publication.
