School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) (SLCU) is a premier educational institution providing a platform for young minds to sharpen legal acumen and acquire such skills and knowledge to serve society.
SLCU moulds its students through a combination of exposure to an advanced syllabus and clinical legal education programs and provides guidance for students to excel in co-curricular activities such as academic writing, moot court competitions, literary and debating activities, and dispute resolution competitions.
About Christ University Student Law Review (CUSLR)
The Christ University Student Law Review (CUSLR) is the first student-run Law Review of SLCU. The CUSLR is a biannual blind peer-reviewed journal edited by the students of SLCU. The Review follows rigorous editorial standards and a commitment to academic diversity, establishing it as a prestigious platform for innovative legal research, fostering collaboration and critical legal analysis.
About Call for Papers
The CUSLR invites manuscripts from academicians, legal practitioners and professionals, research scholars, and students accepting submissions on contemporary legal issues from multiple disciplines of law, including the intersection of law with subjects inter alia Economics and Sociology.
Theme
Manuscripts must address any contemporary legal issue.
Submission Categories
Manuscripts may fall under the following categories:
- Long Articles: 5000-8000 words;
- Short Articles: 3000-5000 words;
- Case Notes, Legislative Comments, and Book Reviews: 1500-3000 words.
Submission Guidelines

- Co-authorship is permitted for up to two authors.
- Submissions must be in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format via the following Google Form link.
- Each submission must include an abstract (200-300 words) with five keywords.
- Plagiarism, including the use of AI in a submission, is capped at 20%.

The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2026.
