Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik
Suraksha Sanhita Act, 2023 (for brevity the „BNSS‟) by the
SPONSORED
Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 3, seeking to quash the proceedings against
them in Crime No.12 of 2025 on the file of the Mahila Urban Police Station,
Tirupathi, Tirupathi District registered for the alleged offences punishable
under Sections 498-A, 323, 506, 354-A1(i) and 354-A1(ii) of the Indian Penal
Code, 1860 (for brevity, “the I.P.C”) and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry
Prohibition Act, 1961 (for brevity „the D.P. Act‟).
2. Sri Y. Nagi Reddy, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that
the matter has been compromised in between the parties.
