A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the opposite
party no.2 (O.P. No.2).
2. The present application has been filed on behalf of
the petitioners for quashing of the order dated 22.07.2017
passed in Complaint Case No.263 of 2016 by the learned Sub-
Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Udakishunganj (hereinafter
referred to as ‘Magistrate’) wherein cognizance for offences
under Section 498A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860
(hereinafter referred to as ‘I.P.C.’) and under Section 4 of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24153 of 2018(9) dt.19-02-2026
Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 has been taken against the
petitioners, who are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the O.P.
No.2, and also against husband of O.P. No.2.
