According to the official notification, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and document verification for candidates are scheduled to begin on December 9, 2024.
CSBC Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Notification
The official notification stated that the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and document verification are scheduled to commence on December 9, 2024, under the advertisement issued by the Central Selection Board for Constable Recruitment. It highlighted that paragraph 17 of the earlier advertisement did not specify the cut-off date for Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificates related to BC and EBC reservation categories or the validity period and cut-off date for EWS certificates. Guidance on these matters has been sought from the General Administration Department. Candidates from these reservation categories participating in the PET and document verification on December 9, 2024, will not be deemed ineligible based on the expiry or issue dates of these certificates. A final decision will be made following the department’s instructions, while all other provisions of the advertisement remain unchanged.

About Bihar Constable Exam
The Bihar Police Constable written examination took place from August 7 to August 28, with 11,95,101 candidates participating. Out of these, 1,06,955 candidates qualified and are eligible to move on to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) stage. The recruitment process aims to fill 21,391 available vacancies.
The PET will assess candidates on activities such as running, high jump, and shot put, while the height and chest measurements for male candidates will be evaluated according to the standards specified in the exam notification.
