Bengaluru: Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) launched their new website — https://btp.karnataka.gov.in — on Friday.
According to city police commissioner B Dayananda, the website is designed to provide people with a more convenient and user-friendly experience. With a fresh look, easier navigation and smarter features, this new platform replaces the old website and boasts unique features that aim to simplify traffic-related services and promote a smoother driving experience.
The website is split into three main sections: Traffic management, enforcement, and road safety. Navigating through these sections, users will be able to report traffic violations, register complaints and suggestions and pay traffic and dispute challans.
Designed and developed by the Centre for e-Governance, govt of Karnataka, the site also has a separate section with timely traffic alerts and news. “Using enhanced data analytics, we are able to provide a traffic situation map, which gives you real-time updates on traffic congestion, road closures and diversions. With ‘Navigate Bengaluru’, the public has a dedicated platform that gives route suggestions and helps navigate the city with live traffic data,” Dayananda said.
