The Board of Directors of the Bajaj Auto has approved the re-appointment of Abhinav Bindra as a Non-executive Independent Director of the Company for a second term of five consecutive years with effect from May 20, 2025, according to the Company’s exchange filing.
The current five-year term of appointment of Abhinav Bindra as a Non-executive Independent Director of the Company is expiring on 19 May 2025.
Abhinav Bindra is the first Indian to win an Individual Olympic Gold and the first Indian to win a World Championship Gold in Air Rifle Shooting.
His last Olympics were in Rio in 2016 where he finished fourth.
