Pursuant to the last order of this Court, Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned
AAG appearing for the State-respondents has placed before this Court a
copy of the letter No.NO.RDA.A.20/2021/Pt/303 dated 22.05.2025 and
submitted that the draft award in connection with the land acquisition was
forwarded to the Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of
Home Affairs, Department of Border Management (BM-I-Division) by the
said letter. However, it appears that Dr. N. Mozika, learned DSGI
appearing for the Union of India has no information with regard to the said
communication.
Ms. Z.E. Nongkynrih, learned GA appearing for the State of
Meghalaya shall hand over a copy of the aforesaid communication dated
22.05.2025 to the learned DSGI to enable him to obtain complete
instruction in the matter.
As prayed for, list this matter after 2 (two) weeks.
