Dr. N. Mozika, learned DSGI on instruction, submits that the draft
awards in connection with the stretches of land involved in the present
cases have been forwarded by the State to the Union Ministry of Home
Affairs without any supporting materials. The Ministry of Home Affairs
has, therefore, written to the State requesting to furnish the supporting
documents/materials, which are yet to be received.

Mr. N.D. Chullai, learned AAG submits that he has no information
regarding the request made by the Union and prays that some time may be
granted to obtain instruction.

Mr. H.L Shangreiso, learned Senior counsel appearing for some of
the petitioners has suggested that some time may be granted to the
respondents so that the formalities and requirements of furnishing
necessary documents can be completed expeditiously.

In view of the submissions made above, and as prayed for by the
parties, list this matter after 4 (four) weeks.

As the issue involved in the present matter pertains to payment of
land compensation, it is expected that both the Union and the State would
complete the formalities without unnecessary delay.
