1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
2. The petitioner is having firearm license of 0.32 bore pistol in pursuance of License No. 10/Mai/2012/Loni-Pistol Bore RP No. 159487. The aforesaid license of the petitioner has been cancelled by the respondent No.4/Additional District Magistrate, Ghaziabad, Adjudicating Authority, District Ghaziabad vide order 13.08.2021 on the ground that one criminal case i.e. Case Crime No. 299 of 2020, under sections 386, 504 & 506 IPC was registered against the petitioner. Aggrieved with the aforesaid order, the petitioner preferred statutory appeal being Appeal No. 10 of 2022, under section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959 before the respondent No.2/Commissioner, Meerut Zone, Meerut which was also dismissed on the same ground vide order dated 04.04.2022. Aggrieved with the aforesaid orders, the petitioner has preferred the present petition.
