In the Lok Sabha Election 2024 updates, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his stance against Muslims on Tuesday, accusing the Congress of attempting to diminish SC-ST reservation in order to favor Muslims. He mentioned that the Congress government’s efforts to introduce a reservation for Muslims in Andhra Pradesh were thwarted by the Court’s intervention. Additionally, he criticized the Congress for allegedly making it a crime to listen to Hanuman Chalisa during their rule.

Modi highlighted the ban on Ram Navami celebrations in Rajasthan under Congress governance, emphasizing the importance of such cultural practices. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria is contesting from the Tonk-Sawai Madhopur constituency in Rajasthan, where thirteen seats are set for polling in the second phase on April 26.

The campaigning for the second phase will conclude on Wednesday. Following this, the PM is scheduled to address public meetings in Chhattisgarh, specifically in Baradwar village in the Janjgir-Champa Lok Sabha constituency and Shyamtarai village in the Dhamtari district, which are part of the Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency. Voting for the Mahasamund seat will take place in the second phase on April 26, while the Janjgir-Champa Lok Sabha seat will go to polls in the third phase on May 7.

Other leaders such as Union Minister Amit Shah, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, BJP president JP Nadda, and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh are also actively campaigning in various constituencies across different states.
