Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2-The Rule has set the box office on wildfire, with it burning all box office records coming on its way. The film is yet to complete its first week at the box office but it has claimed Shah Rukh Khan as its biggest victim.

The Sukumar directed film has minted Rs 687 crore in its first 7 days, including the premiere shows, making it the fourth biggest hit of Indian Cinema. And it has now displaced the record held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, as the highest grossing Hindi film in week 1.
Out of the total collection of Rs 687 crore, Pushpa 2 has earned Rs 398 crore from the Hindi version, beating SRK’s Jawan record which had earned Rs 389.88 crore for its 8 day first week. Also Pushpa still has one more day in its hand, and going by the trend, one can easily expect the film to cross the Rs 400 crore mark, and set new benchmarks for the future films.
After conquering the Hindi market , Pushpa 2 is now challenging the biggest hits of Indian cinema , which are Ram Charan and NTR Jr’s RRR ( Rs 782 crore) , Yash’s KGF 2 (Rs 860 crore) and SS Rajamouli-Prabhas- Rana Dagubbati’s Baahubali 2- The Conclusion ( Rs 1030 crore).
The Allu Arjun led film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and Jagapathi Babu in leading roles, and makers have also announced the third part of the franchise which has been titled as Pushpa 3- The Rampage.
The trade feels that the next Hindi film that can challenge the numbers of Pushpa 2, is going to be Aditya Chopra and Ayan Mukerji’s War 2 with Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr and Kiara Advani. They feel the film has the best for Hindi and South Cinema, thus catering to both the markets in the best way possible.
