Fans and well-wishers are waiting outside Chanchalguda Central Jail in Hyderabad to welcome their star, Allu Arjun, after the Telangana court granted the ‘Pushpa 2’ star interim bail earlier today (December 13). New reports now suggest that the actor will not be released from jail tonight due to some delays in the following procedures.

According to Gulte.com, Allu is likely to remain in jail tonight, and a Manjeera Barrack has been arranged for the actor. The report further states that the actor is expected to be released tomorrow at 7 AM. However, an official confirmation is still awaited, as this may just be mere speculation.
Fans of the ‘Arya’ actor are protesting in the city with placards and banners, calling for justice for their idol. They have been using the hashtags #WeStandWithAlluArjun and #RiseAboveTheHate widely on social media.
The actor was seen having coffee and requesting police officers to give him some time to change his clothes. He also wanted to give his wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, a warm kiss on the cheek before entering the police vehicle.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ director Sukumar, Allu Arjun’s uncle Chiranjeevi, Rana Daggubati, Sushmita Konidela, Trivikram Srinivas, and others were seen entering Allu’s Hyderabad residence after his arrest. Actors like Rashmika Mandanna, Nani, Vivek Oberoi, and filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma came in support of the actor with strong social media posts.
The actor was arrested on December 13, and within a few hours, he was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. The arrest followed a complaint from the female fan’s husband, Bhaskar. Based on the family’s complaint, a case was filed against Allu, his security team, and the theatre management at the Chikkadpally Police Station. The police have charged them under Sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
