Bollywood star Akshay Kumar recently addressed concerns about an eye injury he sustained while filming. There were reports circulating online about the actor suffering an eye injury while shooting his new film ‘Housefull 5‘, and he had a funny reaction in public when a reporter asked about the injury.
The actor appeared in high spirits during a recent press conference, where Akshay was questioned about the eye injury. With a lighthearted gesture, he flashed a thumbs-up to a reporter to convey that all was well. Then, in a humorous twist, he added, “I can see you,” confirming that his vision was unaffected despite the injury.

According to Hindustan Times, the ‘Sarfira’ actor had suffered an eye injury during a stunt for ‘Housefull 5’, currently being filmed in Mumbai. The report states that the accident occurred when an object unexpectedly flew into his eye while filming the stunt sequence.Following the incident, a medical specialist was immediately called to assess the injury. The specialist bandaged his eye and advised a brief period of rest. The actor took a short break before returning to the set, as the production was nearing its final stages, and he was keen not to delay the film’s progress.
‘Housefull 5’ is directed by Tarun Mansukhani, and the movie features a star-studded ensemble cast, including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Panday, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nargis Fakhri.
