The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration window for the application form for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2025). Candidates who wish to make changes to the application form can do so by January 28 at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/.
The extended application period for AISSEE 2025 closed at 5 pm on January 23. The exam will be conducted offline using OMR sheets in 190 cities across India.
The full exam schedule and admit card release date will be announced at a later time. To qualify for the AISSEE Class 6 entrance exam, candidates must be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2025, meaning their birthdate should fall between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015 (both dates included).
Female candidates are eligible for admission to Class 6 at all Sainik schools. For the Class 9 entrance exam, candidates must be between 13 and 15 years old on March 31, 2025, which means they should be born between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2012.
To be eligible for the Class 9 exam, applicants must have completed Class 8 from a recognized school. The Class 6 entrance exam will consist of 125 questions, covering four subjects: Language, Mathematics, Intelligence, and General Knowledge. The total marks for the exam will be 300. The other four sections will each contain 25 questions, with each question worth 2 marks.

- Start by visiting the official AISSEE website at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.
- On the homepage, find and click on the link for the registration correction window, which will take you to the Sainik School application correction page.
- Enter the required login details, such as your registration number and date of birth. After logging in, make the necessary updates and submit the corrected application form.
- Lastly, download and print the confirmation page for your records.
