01. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner as an
accused and respondent No. 2 as complainant, had entered into a
compromise on 05.12.2023 with regard to the case titled –
“UT of J&K vs. Sahil Malhotra” pending before the court of learned
Electricity Magistrate, Jammu, which is subject matter of this petition
and that their statements had also been recorded. However, on perusal of
the charge-sheet, it reveals that the victim was respondent No. 3-Pranav
Jamwal, who was not party to the compromise agreement. .
02. The respondent No. 2-Rajesh Gupta, who was complainant in the case is
also stated to have passed away during the pendency of this petition.
The petitioner and respondent No. 3 are directed to file the compromise,
if they wish so, by next date of hearing.
