    TRANSFER PETITION (CIVIL) NO. 2565/2025:

    This is a petition filed under Section 25 of the Code of

    Civil Procedure, 1908 (for short “CPC”). The petitioner is the

    wife of the respondent. The petitioner has filed this Transfer

    Petition seeking the following reliefs:

    “(a) transfer Civil Suit GW No.34 of 2024 titled as
    “Purshotam Lal vs. Rekha” (filed under
    section 25 Guardians and Ward Act, 1890
    read with Section 6 of Hindu Minority and
    Guardianship Act, 1956 and Section 26 of
    Hindu Marriage Act, 1955) pending before
    the Ld. Principal Judge, Family Court,
    Signature Not Verified Kharar Mohali, Punjab to a Court of
    Digitally signed by
    RADHA SHARMA
    Date: 2026.07.18
    Competent Jurisdiction at Hamirpur,
    10:56:34 IST
    Reason:
    Himachal Pradesh; and/or

    (b) pass any other or further orders as may be
    deemed fit and proper in the circumstances
    of the case.”

    2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and

    SPONSORED

    learned counsel for the respondent and on perusal of the

    material on record, we find that the petitioner has made out

    a case for transfer of the aforesaid petition.

    3. In the result, the Transfer Petition is allowed and the

    Civil Suit GW No.34 of 2024 titled as “Purshotam Lal vs.

    Rekha” pending before the Court of the Principal Judge,

    Family Court, Kharar, Mohali, Punjab is ordered to be

    transferred to the Family Court at Hamirpur, Himachal

    Pradesh.

    4. The respondent-husband, however, is at liberty to

    appear before the transferee Court either in-person or

    through video conferencing facility. If such a request is made

    by the respondent herein, the Court shall make available the

    said facility to him.

    5. Registry to communicate this order to the transferor

    Court as well as the transferee Court for taking steps in

    accordance with this order.

    6. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.

    TRANSFER PETITION (CIVIL) NO. 2460/2025:

    This is a petition filed under Section 25 of the Code of

    Civil Procedure, 1908 (for short “CPC”). The petitioner is the

    wife of the respondent. The petitioner has filed this Transfer

    Petition seeking the following reliefs:

    “(a) Allow the present Petition and transfer HMA
    No.236 of 2024 titled as “Purshottam Lal v.
    Rekha & Ors.”
    filed under Section 13(ia) of
    Hindu Marriage Act by the
    Respondent/Husband and pending before
    the Learned Principal Judge, Family Court,
    Kharar, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab
    to a Court of Competent Jurisdiction at
    Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh; and/or

    (b) Pass any other or further orders as may be
    deemed fit and proper in the circumstances
    of the case.”

    2. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and

    learned counsel for the respondent(s) and on perusal of the
