2. This is an appeal under Section 14-A(2) of the
Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of
Atrocities) Act, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as the “SC/ST
Act”) against the refusal of prayer for anticipatory bail vide
order dated 01.05.2024 in A.B.P. No. 892 of 2024 passed by the
learned First Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge
S.C./S.T. (POA) Act, Araria in connection with Araria SC/ST
Case No. 43 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable
Patna High Court CR. APP (SJ) No.2397 of 2024(5) dt.20-07-2026
under Sections 147, 149, 341, 325, 324, 323, 307, 504, 506,
354(B), 427, 379 and 385 of the Indian Penal Code as well as
Sections 3(i)(r)(s), 3(2)(v), 5 of the SC/ST Act.
