    Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University) [MM(DU)], Mullana–Ambala, is a premier multidisciplinary institution accredited by NAAC with Grade A++ and graded Category-I by UGC with graded autonomy.     About the Faculty Development Programme

    The Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Research and Development Cell of MM(DU), is organizing a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Bridging the Silos: Interdisciplinary Approaches in Research, Teaching Pedagogy and Academic Publishing” from 27th July to 1st August 2026. The sessions are scheduled daily from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (IST) and will be conducted virtually.

    The FDP aims to equip academicians, researchers, professionals, and doctoral scholars with contemporary knowledge and practical insights into research methodology, innovative pedagogy, artificial intelligence (AI), academic publishing, and interdisciplinary research. The programme includes expert lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions to address challenges such as AI integration, digital transformation, research ethics, sustainable development, and evolving publication standards.

    Objectives of the FDP

    • Promote interdisciplinary approaches in research, teaching, and academic publishing.
    • Strengthen competencies in contemporary research methodologies and innovative pedagogy.
    • Enhance understanding and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in higher education.
    • Improve academic writing, publication ethics, and scholarly communication skills.
    • Incorporate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in teaching and research.
    • Introduce emerging digital technologies and legal databases.
    • Foster collaborative research and academic partnerships nationally and internationally.

    Participation is open to academicians, faculty members, research scholars, LL.M. students, and professionals from allied disciplines interested in interdisciplinary research, teaching, and academic publishing.

    Mode

    The programme will be conducted in a fully virtual mode.
