About FORE Society
The Foundation for Organizational Research and Education (FORE) was established in 1981 as a non-profit autonomous organization registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. Headquartered in New Delhi, FORE has been engaged in management education, organizational research, executive development, and policy-oriented initiatives for over four decades.
About FCPLG
The FORE Centre for Political Leadership and Governance (FCPLG) was established to nurture ethical, capable, and socially responsible leaders through leadership development, governance education, policy engagement, and youth-centric initiatives. The Centre seeks to strengthen democratic values by creating platforms that encourage informed dialogue, critical thinking, and active civic participation.
About the Competition
Following the success of its inaugural edition, FCPLG तर्कमंच 2026 returns as a National Inter-College Debate Competition, bringing together students from universities and colleges across India to engage in informed and constructive debate on issues of national importance.
The competition aims to strengthen public speaking, analytical thinking, leadership, and democratic dialogue among young citizens.

Competition Details
- Dates: August 10–12, 2026

Objectives
- Encourage critical and analytical thinking among youth.
- Provide a platform for informed democratic dialogue.
- Enhance communication, persuasion, and leadership skills.
- Promote respectful debate on contemporary national issues.
- Foster intellectual exchange and networking among students.
Eligibility
- Undergraduate students
- Postgraduate students
Competition Format
- Individual debate competition
- Participants may speak for or against the motion.
- Language: Hindi or English
- Main Argument: 3 minutes
- Rebuttal/Closing: 1 minute
Registration Fee
₹299 per participant
Prizes
- First Prize (2 Winners): ₹20,000 each
- Second Prize (2 Winners): ₹15,000 each
- Third Prize (2 Winners): ₹10,000 each
- Consolation Prize (4 Winners): ₹5,000 each
All participants will receive certificates, while winners will receive cash prizes and national recognition.
