1. The instant criminal appeal has been filed challenging the validity of a judgment and order dated 19.12.2012 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Prevention of Corruption (Central), Lucknow in Case No.12 of 1998 whereby the appellant has been convicted under Sections 120B, 420, 467, 471 I.P.C. and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced to a maximum term of five years rigorous imprisonment with fine and a default stipulation. The appeal was admitted by means of an order dated 17.01.2013 and the trial Court’s record was summoned. Instead of sending the record in compliance of the order dated 17.01.2013, the office merely sent a certified copy of the record to this Court.
