1. The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of
India has been preferred for the following reliefs:
“(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order (s)/direction(s) or a
writ in nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned letter as
contained in Memo No. 50 dated 19.1.2017 (Annexure-5) issued by
District Panchyati Raj Officer, Godda so far as it relates to cancellation
of contractual appointment of the petitioner on the post of Junior
Engineer under the Department of Rural Development Department
(Panchyati Raj), Jharkhand, because the same is wholly without
jurisdiction and illegal, and cannot be sustained in the eyes of law and
therefore fit to be quashed..
