The appellant has filed the present appeal under Section 37 of the
Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (Hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act of
1996’ for the sake of brevity) being aggrieved by the order dated 16.03.2022
passed by 21st District Judge, Jabalpur in MJCAV No. 267/2017.
2. It is the case of the appellant that the land of the appellant bearing
Khasra No. 21, admeasuring 0.23 hectare, situated at Village Paudi Fatak,
Tahsil Shahpura, District Jabalpur, was acquired for widening of National
Highway No. 7 (now NH-30). An award dated 01.07.2013 was passed by the
Competent Authority (Land Acquisition Officer), Patan, in Case No. 28/A-
82/2011-2012, determining compensation of Rs. 3,57,843/-.
