About the Centre
The CCLC is a transformative initiative that integrates criminal law with sociology, psychology, and forensics. It provides students with specialized training in trial advocacy, forensic investigation, and restorative justice, while also promoting policy interventions and community outreach.
The Centre envisions itself as a national thought leader committed to advancing a fair, effective, and reform-oriented justice system.
Guidelines for Submission
Scope & Eligibility
- Original, well-researched pieces on contemporary issues in criminal law, criminology, and allied fields.
- Contributions welcome from students, researchers, practitioners, and academicians.
Word Limit & Formatting
- 1,000–1,500 words.
- MS Word format (.doc/.docx) only.
- Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 spacing (main text); font size 10, single spacing (footnotes).
Citation & Plagiarism
- Hyperlinks preferred; footnotes (Bluebook, 21st ed.) where necessary.
- Plagiarism above 15% will lead to rejection.
Review Process
- Double-blind peer review by Student Editorial Board and Faculty Editorial Board.
- Co-authorship allowed (up to 2 authors).
Declaration & Copyright
- Authors must declare that submissions are not communal, defamatory, or objectionable.
- Copyright vests with CCLC upon acceptance; moral rights remain with authors.

- Attach a separate cover letter with author details (name, designation, affiliation, contact info, and short bio).
