1. The Applicant seeks protection of pre-arrest bail in connection with
Crime No.225/2026 dated 14.04.2026 registered with Sangamner City Police
Station, District Ahilyanagar for the offences punishable under Sections 271, 325,
3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 5(1), 5(b), 5(c) and 9 of the
Maharashtra Animals Preservation Act, 1976.
2. I have perused FIR and police papers. Prima facie, it appears that name
of Applicant has been impleaded on basis of hearsay evidence. Although FIR records
that person residing in neighborhood of slaughter house have taken name of
Applicant, statement of such person is not found in investigation papers. In that
view of matter, case is made out to grant interim protection to Applicant. Hence,
following order:
ORDER
(i) Issue notice to the respondents, returnable on 17.06.2026. The

learned APP waives notice for Respondent-State.
(ii) Till next date, in event of arrest of Applicant in connection
with Crime No.225/2026 dated 14.04.2026 registered with
Sangamner City Police Station, District Ahilyanagar for the offences
punishable under Sections 271, 325, 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita,
2023 and Sections 5(1), 5(b), 5(c) and 9 of the Maharashtra Animals
Preservation Act, 1976, he shall be released on bail on furnishing PB
and SB of Rs. 30,000/- (Rs. Thirty Thousand only) with one surety in
the like amount, on the following conditions:
a. The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence
in any manner.
b. The Applicant shall attend the concerned police station on
every Friday between 10.00 am to 02.00 pm.c. The Applicant shall cooperate with the investigating agency for
further investigation.
