1. The petitioners have filed this petition under Article 226 of the
Constitution seeking quashing of FIR No. 345/2021, dated 06.08.2021,
registered at Police Station Vivek Vihar, Delhi, under Sections
498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 [“IPC”], and all proceedings
emanating therefrom, on the ground of settlement.
2. Issue notice. Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel, accepts
notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioners and
respondent No. 2are unavailable. However, the petitioners are present in
Court, and are identified by the Investigating Officer [“IO”]. Respondent
No. 2 is also present in Court, and is identified by the IO. They do not
wish to await the assistance of counsel.
