About the Position
They are looking for a sharp, motivated, and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our growing in-house legal team at a fast-paced technology company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of law, business, contracts, compliance, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and technology contracts, including MSAs, SLAs, Business Agreements, Consultant Agreements, Employment Agreements, NDAs, JV Agreements, Strategic Alliance Agreements, Technology Partnership Agreements, Vendor Agreements, and Supplier/Procurement Contracts.
- Support employment, HR, compliance, company law, and labour law matters.
- Assist in dispute resolution, legal notices, arbitration coordination, and liaison with external counsel.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal opinions/risk notes, and manage the contract repository.
- Work closely with business, finance, HR, and operations teams.
Eligibility
- LL.B./LL.M. from a recognised university.
- Enrolment with the Bar Council is mandatory.
- AIBE clearance and valid Certificate of Practice are mandatory.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or in-house legal role.
- Exposure to technology contracts, SaaS agreements, software licensing, IT services agreements, data protection clauses, and technology partnership agreements will be an added advantage.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, research, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
