Joshua Sterling, Litigation & Arbitration partner at Milbank LLP and former Director of the CFTC’s Market Participants Division, will participate on a webinar titled, “Prediction Markets at the Crossroads: Innovation, Regulation, and Market Design,” to be held virtually on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 12:00 – 1:15 pm EDT.
The panel will examine how prediction markets have evolved into platforms for trading on real-world outcomes, addressing the boundaries between state and federal jurisdiction, the intersection of gaming law, and derivatives regulation, market structure, consumer protection, and insider trading.
