    [1] In and vide order dated 11.05.2026 inter alia in

    MC(CRP(CRP.Art.227)) No. 22 of 2026 plaintiffs were permitted to place before

    this Court a copy of the plaint in Original Suit. No. 52 of 2023 on the file of the

    Court of Civil Judge (Junior Division), Imphal East. Mr. L.N. Ngamba, learned

    counsel on record for revision petitioners Nos. 1, 2 & 4 to 7 and revision petitioner

    No. 3 Mr. Aribam Phulchand Sharma (party-in-person) are before this Court.

    [2] Learned counsel and party-in-person requested for time to file

    additional Paper Book pursuant to order in MC(CRP.Art.227)) No. 22 of 2026.

    [3] Be that as it may, this Court wanted to know whether revision

    petitioners who are plaintiffs in the Trial Court have taken steps qua issue of

    summons for defendant Nos. 11 & 12.

    [4] Learned counsel and party-in-person submitted that the matter was

    kept on 15.12.2025 for examination of the process server but the impugned order

    was made. To be noted, impugned order was one rejecting the plaint by exercise

    of power under Order VII Rule 11(f) for non-compliance with Order VII Rule 9 of

    the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908′ [‘CPC‘ for the sake of brevity].

    [5] This Court, on its own, ferreted out the Trial Court proceedings from

    the official E-Court Website and the proceedings in Trial Court on 20.08.2025,

    23.09.2025 and 06.11.2025 read as follows:

    [6] Adverting to 20.08.2025 proceedings, learned counsel and party-in-

    person submit that the plaintiffs before the Trial Court did not take steps for issue

    of summons to defendant Nos. 11 & 12 as per order of Trial Court dated

    20.08.2025 as steps had already been taken. Be that as it may, when this Court

    wanted to know the date of presentation of plaint and date of filing of suit, learned

    counsel and party-in-person submitted that the date of plaint is 20.11.2023 and

    the same are the dates of presentation of plaint and filing of the suit. This

    submission is also recorded albeit subject to verification.

    [7] In the light of the narrative thus far, learned counsel and party-in-

    person requested for time to place before this Court particulars to demonstrate

    that steps qua issue of summons to defendant Nos. 11 & 12 were taken prior to

    20.08.2025. Let the same be done with all requisite supporting documents,

    particulars and details.
