I wrote an email with a cover letter and attached my curriculum vitae to the office email ID. I also met him in person to convey my eagerness to intern.

The internship was fairly good. I improved my legal knowledge and skills with thorough guidance. The work environment was friendly, and everyone from seniors to colleagues, partners, and even the support staff was very cooperative and approachable.

On my first day, the senior advocate introduced me to my team members in an informal manner, after which they briefed me about the work.

I interned under a senior advocate. I thoroughly read case files and prepared concise notes on various legal provisions to assist my senior officer. I attended court proceedings in the morning, and after lunch, I worked on case-related research and filings.

I had heard from my batchmates that advocates do not assign much work to interns as they already have junior advocates under them; however, this internship experience proved otherwise.

From reviewing agreements, filing, and handling paperwork to researching new cases and legal provisions, I was actively involved in all aspects of the work.

The office had a great atmosphere, with a high level of professionalism in everything. Overall, it was an ideal workplace. The individuals working there were true specialists, knowledgeable, competent, and skilled in their respective fields.

My colleagues were friendly and supportive, and everyone was understanding and offered helpful tips on how to improve my work.

Our office is near National College Road, which made it easier for me to reach all the courts on time. The office is also close to the metro station.

There was no such thing as bad in the office. Everything went well throughout the month of my internship.

It was an unpaid internship.

I traveled by metro every day.

I talked to junior advocates about their experiences in law school and how to improve certain skills.
