    About Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law, Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in accordance with the guidelines of the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission.

The curriculum is designed to equip students with practical skills essential for professional practice upon graduation. Our programmes integrate internships, case reviews, moot courts, drafting and conveyancing exercises, and order-writing components.

To enhance student engagement with the legal fraternity, we regularly organise seminars, guest lectures, and workshops across diverse areas of law. In addition to the core curriculum, students also benefit from value-added courses that further strengthen their academic and professional development.
