1. In pursuance of directions issued earlier, appellants 1, 2 and 4 namely Chunni Lal Munni Lal and Ram Jiyawan are present today before this Court duly identified by their counsel Ms. Nisha Srivastava.
2. It has been submitted that appellant no.3, Sihor has passed away, which is corroborated by office report dated 21.04.2026.

4. The instant Criminal Appeal under Section 374(2) Cr.P.C. has been filed against judgment and order dated 16.08.2004 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Faizabad, in Sessions Trial No.731 of 1997, State v. Chunni Lal and others, arising out of Case Crime No. 83 of 1996, under Sections 323, 436, 427 I.P.C., Police Station Jaitpur, District Ambedkar Nagar convicting and sentencing the appellants as under:-
