About BMS College of Law
B.M.S College of Law was established in 1963 by Sri B.S. Narayan, Donor Trustee, BMSET, under the aegis of the B.M. Sreenivasaiah Educational Trust. The Trust is named after Dharmaprakasha Rajakaryaprasaktha Sri B.M. Sreenivasaiah, whose vision laid the foundation for the first private engineering college in the State of Karnataka.
The institution is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, approved by the Bar Council of India, and accredited with a B++ Grade by NAAC.
About Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre (VTPC)
The Government of Karnataka established the Visvesvaraya Trade Promotion Centre in 1971, and it functions under the Department of Industries and Commerce. Named after Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the Centre serves as Karnataka’s designated nodal agency for international trade promotion.
Its mission is to position Karnataka as a global trade leader by fostering a sustainable environment for merchandise and service exports through strategic handholding and capacity-building initiatives.

The rapid advancement of technology and the emergence of Artificial Intelligence have significantly transformed the contours of Intellectual Property Law.
Traditional intellectual property frameworks, developed in an era centred on human ingenuity and conventional innovation, are increasingly being tested by AI-generated works, autonomous inventions, and disruptive technologies such as blockchain, biotechnology, the metaverse, and data-driven platforms.
As machines become active participants in creative and inventive processes, longstanding legal principles relating to authorship, inventorship, ownership, originality, and liability demand careful reconsideration.

Abstract Submission
- Maximum word limit: 300 words
- Format: MS Word
- The abstract must include the title of the paper and the name(s) of the author(s).
- Abstracts are to be submitted through the QR code provided in the brochure.
Research Paper Submission
- Word Limit: 3500–4000 words
- Format: MS Word
- Heading: Times New Roman, 14 pt
- Body: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single spacing
- Margin: 1 inch on all sides
- Citation Style: Bluebook, 21st Edition

- E-Certificate shall be issued to all the participants.
Publication
- Research papers will undergo a double-blind review process.
- Selected research papers will be published in conference proceedings, fulfilling the submission guidelines and plagiarism check.
