About the Journal

The ‘International Journal of Law and Policy Review’ (IJLPR) has been established in the year 2012 under the patronage of NUJS, the University founded by Prof Madhav Menon. The IJLPR is online e-journal and is managed by the CELCJ of NUJS.

The purpose of introducing this online e-journal is to reach widely to every reader interested in law and other disciplines, by way of open access system through internet and disseminate and share ideas and knowledge of law and legal development all over the world. 

Submission Categories

Submissions are invited in MS Word format under the following categories:

  • Segment 1 – Long Article:
    Any topic relating to law and policy
    Minimum length: 12,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Segment 2 – Special Article:
    Any topic relating to law and legal research
    Minimum length: 6,000 words (including footnotes)
  • Segment 3 – Short Article:
    Any topic relating to law and policy
    Minimum length: 3,000 words (including footnotes)

Submission Details

Manuscripts demonstrating originality and contemporary relevance, particularly those preferred by the Chief Editor and Editorial Bard, may receive special consideration.

The Journal is accepting articles on a rolling basis throughout the year. The manuscript must be submitted through the journal portal on or before july, 2026 for forthcoming next issue.

For further information, authors are advised to carefully review the submission guidelines and terms & conditions available on the journal website. The Editorial Board reserves the right to close submissions prior to the deadline if a sufficient number of publishable manuscripts are received.

The journal welcomes high-quality submissions from students, researchers, academicians, and legal professionals across diverse areas of law and public policy.
