    1. I.A. No.12531 of 2026 has been jointly filed by the parties

    seeking appropriate directions under Article 142 of the

    SPONSORED

    Constitution of India for dissolving their marriage as per the

    terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 13.04.2026.

    2. The parties, who are present in this Court, are duly

    identified by their respective counsel.

    3. Learned counsel for the parties submitted that all the

    disputes and differences between the parties have been amicably

    resolved, and the parties have decided to part ways on certain

    terms and conditions. Accordingly, appropriate and necessary orders

    may be passed in accordance therewith.

    4. We appreciate the efforts put in by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Khanna,

    learned Mediator, Supreme Court of India, and also the learned

    5. It is further agreed between the parties that, as per

    paragraph no.7 of the Joint Application, the cases mentioned

    therein, as described below, shall stand closed:

    “a) Case under Section 12 of Protection of
    Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 bearing
    MJCR No. 1282 of 2022 pending before the Ld.
    Vth Civil Judge, Senior Division, Indore,
    Madhya Pradesh titled as “Rashmi Sharma Vs
    Ganesh Krishnamurthy
    lyer & Ors.” filed by
    Petitioner.

    b) Case under Section 498A of Indian Penal Code
    bearing RCT No. 5507 of 2022 pending before Ld.
    XI Civil Judge, Senior Division, Indore, Madhya
    Pradesh titled as “State v. Ganesh
    Krishnamurthy Iyer & Ors.
    ” filed by Petitioner.

    c) Case under Section 125 of Criminal Procedure
    Code bearing MJCR No. 798 of 2022 pending
    before Ld. II Additional Principal Judge,
    Family Court, Indore, Madhya Pradesh titled as
    Rashmi Sharma Vs Ganesh Krishnamurthy Iyer

    filed by Petitioner.

    d) Misc. Criminal Case bearing MCRC No. 48994
    of 2024 titled “Ganesh Krishnamurthy Iyer & Ors
    Vs State of Madhya Pradesh & Anr”, filed by the
    Respondent seeking quashing of the proceedings
    arising out of the aforesaid complaint under
    Section 498-A IPC before the Hon’ble High Court
    of Madhya Pradesh bench at Indore, and

    e) Case under Section 13(1)(i-a) and (ib) of
    Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 bearing M.C. No. 2042
    of 2022 titled as “Ganesh Krishnamurthy Iyer v.

    Smt. Rashmi Sharma” filed by Respondent.”

    6. In view of the above, the following directions are issued:

    i) The marriage solemnized on 09.02.2012 between the petitioner-

    wife and the respondent-husband, having broken down irretrievably,

    is hereby dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent;

    ii) All the legal proceedings pending inter se the parties, as

    indicated above (paragraph no.5 herein), shall stand closed;

    iii) Decree be drawn up accordingly;

    iv) It goes without saying that both parties will continue to abide

    by the terms of the Settlement Agreement without any exception;

    v) Registry is directed to forward a copy of this order to the

    fora/courts concerned for passing formal orders closing the cases;

    vi) The Settlement Agreement dated 13.04.2026 is made part of this

    order, and its terms are binding upon the parties. Parties

    undertake to abide by the same; and

    vii) Parties, through their learned counsel present in the Court,

    have been made aware of the consequences of breach of such terms,

    including the initiation of contempt proceedings.

    7. In view of the above facts, I.A. No.12531 of 2026 is allowed

    and the Transfer Petition stands disposed of.

    8. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
