About the Opportunity

Intellect Goodwill LLP is expanding, and is looking for a Junior Intellectual Property Associate to join their growing team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining clients’ Intellectual Property portfolios
• Handling prosecution, opposition, and enforcement matters relating to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and designs
• Drafting and filing trademark, copyright, design, and patent applications
• Preparing and filing prosecution amendments, oppositions, rectifications, and other submissions before the concerned authorities
• Conducting trademark searches and legal research
• Appearing before Registrars / Examiners for hearings
• Drafting pleadings, evidence, legal opinions, and arguments in IP litigation matters
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP agreements and related legal documents
• Managing and organizing legal documents, correspondence, and databases efficiently

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Law
• Experience in end-to-end handling of Intellectual Property matters (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Trademark, Copyright, Patent, and Design laws (preferred)
• Experience with international filings will be an added advantage
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Proficiency in legal research tools and IT systems
