Reliance Infrastructure on Tuesday said an adjudicating authority under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) has confirmed the provisional attachment of certain assets of the company amounting to ₹670.48 crore, according to a regulatory filing.
The order, dated April 20, 2026, relates to alleged violations under the PMLA for the period between 2017 and 2019. The company said it received the communication from the adjudicating authority on April 21 and will challenge the attachment before the appropriate forum.
“There is no impact on the business operations of the company,” Reliance Infrastructure said, adding that it will file an appeal against the confirmation of the provisional attachment.
The development follows an earlier disclosure made by the company in December 2025, when it had clarified that the majority of assets provisionally attached by the Enforcement Directorate—then cited at over ₹10,100 crore—pertained to Reliance Communications, which has not been part of the Reliance Group since 2019 and is undergoing corporate insolvency proceedings under the supervision of the National Company Law Tribunal.
At that time, Reliance Infrastructure had said that only about ₹339 crore, along with certain non-core assets related to the company, while the remaining assets belonged either to Reliance Communications or to independent entities with no involvement of the Reliance Group.
The company had also stressed that it continued to operate normally and would take all legal steps to protect shareholder interests.
